Missional Field Notes

Quotes, Examples, and Ideas from My Missional Frontier

As I look ahead to 2016 for this blog, I am not looking for a huge spike in readership. I’m not going to promise I’ll read more books or have more original content. I’m not going to publish any more frequently (as I’ve been doing one a day for a couple of years). I’m not going to have more pictures or more quote or anything like that.

I’m just trying to keep Missional Theology at the fore of my thinking as I serve in an institutional church with all of the institutional things that make missional thinking hard in the first place: denominational structures, church buildings, aging membership.

That I’ll do.

And, perhaps, God will use this space to help more persons experience God through the work of the church and, perhaps, through the work of this one pastor.

Regardless, have a blessed 2016. And may the love of God be seen in the work of our hands.
