Missional Field Notes

Quotes, Examples, and Ideas from My Missional Frontier

The video above offers a taste of one of the several missional communities at All Saints United Methodist Church. Their communities are tasked in various areas. The one above, HEAL, works with veterans. There are other missional communities as well. NOURISH prepares food for the hungry. SHELTER works with a transition home. WELCOME raises cultural awareness. They have one they are starting called RELEASE. Plus there is a missional community whose focus is welcome and hospitality.

What’s particularly interesting is how they’ve designated each of the groups. Instead of, perhaps, a particular area they are defined by, it’s the holy work that defines them.
